In college, a friend called me out, I was rushing through a conversation with them, and they asked me why I was in such a a hurry. I realized I had set an artificial deadline in my head to work on a project. And since then I've tried to relax into chance moments like a good conversation with a friend, or this morning, how the sun caught my earrings and made rainbow sparkles dance across the room. (And teased my cats into trying to catch them)
